There is an interview with Drake in the new issue of Rolling Stone, and last night a number of quotes from the article began making their way across the internet. The initial headlines referred to comments made regarding Macklemore’s text to Kendrick Lamar following the GRAMMY’s, but the topic that has Aubrey pissed this morning is what the publication claims he said about Yeezus.
According to Rolling Stone, Drake commented during their interview that he felt the lyrics on Kanye West’s Yeezus were inconsistent. He allegedly even went as far as to say “There were some real questionable bars on there. Like that ‘Swaghili‘ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”
This morning, Drake took to Twitter to deny the magazine’s allegations, claiming he never talked about Yeezus during the interview with RS. He later vowed to never do another magazine interview. You can view his tweets below:
I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue.

I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.

I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.
