Listen To Johnny Cash’s Long Lost Duet With Waylon Jennings

Back in the mid-1980s Columbia Records wanted to push Johnny Cash back into the spotlight and revamp his career. Well, the Man in Black ended up leaving his label in 1985 and the whole record was forgotten. Now it’s resurfaced and songs are trickling out, like his duet with Waylon Jennings, “I’m Movin’ On.”

The lost record, Out Among the Stars, would’ve stayed a mystery if it wasn’t for the late singer’s son, John Carter Cash. He found the tapes in his parents’ home and now it’s finally going to be released. Better two decades later than never, right? Along with the Jennings duet, fans will get to hear a couple tracks featuring Cash’s wife, June Carter, as well.

Out Among the Stars will finally get its day on March 25. You can listen to “I’m Movin’ On” and see the entire tracklisting below.
