MØ Covers The Spice Girls’ 1996 Hit “Say You’ll Be There”

MØ cover

You remember the Spice Girls, right? Of course you do. They were the biggest thing in the world at one point in time, and (judging by this song’s artwork) Danish pop star was apparently as obsessed with and influenced by them as much, if not more, than any other young girl in the ’90s.

Leading up to her highly anticipated debut LP, No Mythologies To Follow, which is set to release on March 3, MØ has gifted the Internet with a cover of the British superstars’ 1996 smash single, “Say You’ll Be There,” a song I didn’t know I knew every word to until I started streaming this re-imagining.

You can listen to MØ’s excellent cover after the jump where it’s also available for free download — MØ’s Valentine’s Day gift to us. Also, you can pre-order No Mythologies To Follow here.
