The man responsible for transforming Lana Del Rey‘s “Summertime Sadness” into a club and radio smash last year is back in music headlines this morning with a new twist on another popular female artist.
Cedric Gervais might as well have been King Midas himself when he added an EDM-spin to “Summertime Sadness,” and if our ears our correct he will soon find the same success with his take on the latest Miley Cyrus ballad, “Adore You.” The soft-spoken tale of love and longing has been injected with a dose of energy powerful enough to get any cubicle slave in motion (even though it’s only Thursday). You can stream the remix below.
Life is too short to hate on music that makes you feel good. “Adore You” may be a bit of a snoozer in its original form, but I dare anyone to sit still while listening to this remix. In fact, don’t even try to resist. Just brush all the problems facing you off for a few minutes and have a party of one. Go on, you deserve it.
