Antique Records Welcomes Blind Mice; Band To Release Debut EP March 25

Boutique Boston label Antique Records has announced the addition of rock outfit Blind Mice to their growing roster.

Featuring AJ Mills (Half Hearted Hero), Blind Mice are the latest band to gain national attention from the New Bedford, MA area. Their sound walks the line between what is currently hip in the new wave of emo resurgence, only with an extra dose of pop sensibilities and punk attitude sprinkled on top. Their debut EP, Comedown, will be released digitally and on limited edition cassette March 25. Preorders are available now. You can stream a new song, titled “Spectator,” below.

Speaking about their new home, vocalist Russ Nunes offered:

“We’re really excited to be the newest member of the Antique Records family. Any time you can offer your music in an interesting throwback type format is always great. Blind Mice started as a side project for AJ (Half Hearted Hero) and myself (Ross). After adding Mike (ex ra ra riot) and Joe I guess we found we had a less laid back purpose. What you hear on ‘Comedown’ is our work as a band to date. We’re stoked to be releasing ‘Comedown’ on cassette with Antique Records.”

Blind Mice are planning a cassette release show in Boston for Sunday, March 25. We will bring you more details regarding that performance in the weeks ahead.
