The official trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy is scheduled to make its world premiere when Chris Pratt appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live later this evening, but Marvel has started the celebration for the clip’s release early with the debut of a new teaser that is sure to get your blood pumping.

The first footage to be released to the public from Guardians Of The Galaxy runs roughly 15 seconds in length and features a complete lack of Rocket Raccoon. What you do see however, are a few brief glimpses of Chris Pratt and the other Guardians (sans-Rocket), as well as some brief glimpses of what we assume will be the ‘bad guys.’ You can view the teaser below.

Guardians Of The Galaxy arrives in theaters August 1.

For those with DVRs, Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 11:35 PM (EST) on ABC. It is unclear exactly what time Pratt will make his appearance, but you can rest assured we will post the full trailer on UTG the moment it becomes available.
