LISTEN: Animals As Leaders – “Tooth and Claw”

Animals_As_Leaders 2012

Animals As Leaders have released a new track from their upcoming record, The Joy of Motion, out March 28, on Sumerian Records.

Anyone familiar with the band’s recent output should know what to expect, though “Tooth and Claw” is a noticeably heavier experience than what Animals As Leaders have released before. Pulverizing the listener as it trudges along, the track is a lot muddier than previous showcases, and I enjoy that. Dirty it up, friends–this type of music calls for an indulge into sludge. But, with this heavier atmosphere in mind, Animals As Leaders still know how to intertwine beautiful melodies into technical metal madness.

Follow us after the jump to experience “Tooth and Claw” for yourself. According to the Sumerian Records YouTube channel, pre-orders will be announced soon, so stay tuned.
