Watch The ‘Goal Of The Dead’ Trailer

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, here comes a soccer movie involving zombies. This isn’t the tale of that kid from Warm Bodies going out for the team. Oh no, Goal of the Dead is a French film where the living dead take over the field.

So it’s like Bend It Like Beckham meets The Walking Dead minus the love story and Michonne’s Katanas? Not exactly – directors Thierry Poiraud and Benjamin Rocher start simple with a soccer team prepping for the World Cup. Of course things can’t go smoothly after an infection spreads and zombie chaos ensues. The plot might sound iffy for some, but you can’t hate on it too much. From what the trailer shows, it at least looks well made.

Sadly there’s no US release date for those who love both soccer and zombie flicks. For now you’ll just have to enjoy the trailer for Goal of the Dead below. Don’t forget it’s a French film, so those who don’t speak it can just check out the visuals.
