Big Boi Says There Is No Outkast Album; Announces Solo Mixtape

After nearly two months of rumors, Big Boi has confirmed there are currently no plans for a new Outkast album.

Speaking with Revolt TV in a new interview, Big Boi explained that he and Andre 3000 are solely focused on tackling their tour plans at this point in time. They have not stepped into the studio to create any new music, despite what you may have been told. You can view the interview below.

While this news is sure to bum some fans out, there is a bright side. Big Boi also used his time with Revolt to announce that he plans to release a new mixtape in the near future. No title or date was given, but you can rest assured we’ll bring you more details once additional information becomes available.
