Silver Snakes, the up and coming post-hardcore band on the impressive Bridge Nine Records roster, has debuted a new song called “Red” from their upcoming album, Year Of The Snake, over at Alt Press.

This track is surprisingly different from the other tracks we’ve heard from Year Of The Snake, and shows the acoustic angle of the album. However, “Red” is far from a cliché acoustic ballad, taking on a morbid atmosphere reminiscent of the acoustic songs at the end of Defeater’s Empty Days and Sleepless Nights. It’ll be interesting to see how it fits in on the record.
