Dan Auerbach Reportedly Producing the Next Lana Del Rey Record

According to the Nashville, Tn.-based publication No Country For New Nashville, Lana Del Rey has been seen working at the Black Keys member’s studio, Easy Eye Studio, in Nashville.

This morning, Del Rey posted a photo on Twitter with the caption “Me and Dan Auerbach are excited to present you Ultraviolence.”

The news of the combo is surprising after Auerbach’s comment on Del Rey to MTV in 2012:

”On some level, we’ve seen that Lana Del Rey thing since we first started,” Auerbach said to MTV. ”All of a sudden this new band would be headlining festivals and we’re like, ‘Wait, how did they get that?’ We’ve been here for two, three, four, five years and we’re still working our way up. But then they’re gone. Just as quickly as they get up there, they disappear.”
