Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White, and More Confirmed For Bonnaroo 2014

bonnaroo-announces-2014-festival-dates

2014 is the year the music festival market hits its peak saturation point. Every lineup announcement up to this point has been bigger and wilder than the one before, but I think the team behind Bonnaroo may have just won the announcement game for good.

Right now, I want you to take a moment and think of any major star from the last few decades you would like to see live alongside 100,000 screaming, somewhat filthy music freaks. Go on, I’ll wait.

Did you think of Kanye West? He’s there.

Elton John? Got him too.

Lionel Richie? A little obscure, but yes – he will be at Bonnaroo 2014.

The first wave of artist announcements for the 2014 Bonnaroo Music Festival hit the net today and was immediately the biggest topic of conversation in the industry. All of the aforementioned megastars were named, as well as Jack White, The Flaming Lips, A$AP Ferg, and many, many, many more. You can view a poster revealing the initial lineup, as well as an announcement video featuring Hannibal Burress, below.

Tickets for Bonnaroo go on sale this Saturday, February 22. Given the names on this lineup, I think it’s safe to say a complete sell-out will happen in a matter of minutes.

Another Bonnaroo lineup is expected soon. Stay tuned for details.
