A few months ago, our friend Kyle Garchar quit his job at Apple to start a new project with a team of people passionate about music and fashion.

Fast forward to tonight. The official website for the Fashion Meets Music Festival has launched with a countdown clock ticking. If you’re not so good at remembering which months have 30 days and which have 31 and how to add all of those up to find the end time, we’ll spoil it for you. August 28, 2014 is when the clock hits zero.

What we know now is that there is a new music festival coming to Columbus, OH in the arena district. There is more info coming your way tomorrow, but for now I think it’s safe to assume clothes and bands will be major staples in the festival’s offerings.
