Are Oasis Teasing a Reunion Announcement?

The Oasis facebook page has posted a short video teasing an announcement that will be made tomorrow at 9am on the band’s official site. For whatever it’s worth, this August will mark the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album Definitely Maybe so it’s possible we could be looking at just another remaster or boxed set, as these types of teases often end in disappointment.

But is it possible that Noel and Liam Gallagher have finally patched things up and that an Oasis reunion is imminent? Adding to the speculation is that Beady Eye, Liam’s Oasis off-shoot that also features three other former members of Oasis, has been removed from the Coachella lineup page.

Oasis hasn’t performed together since 2009, when the Gallagher brothers famously had a falling out backstage at the Rock en Seine festival, leading to their manager canceling their headlining set just minutes before they were set to take the stage.
