Everyone in the metal world knows by now that As I Lay Dying‘s frontman has been the center of a legal storm ever since he was arrested for attempting to hire someone to murder his estranged wife. Up until now, he has been pleading not guilty to all charges and has simultaneously battled a $2 million civil suit filed by said wife. That changed today, however, when he decided to enter in a guilty plea to the charge of soliciting to murder. With this plea, he faces nine years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The sentence has not officially been laid out yet, but we will likely find out the details in the very near future so be sure to check in again soon.
