“All I want is a $100 million dollars and a bad bitch.”
Rick Ross surprised fans last night by sharing his new album, Mastermind, via iTunes a full week ahead of the record’s official shelf date. The entire record is worth your time, but for those who only want the hits we are sharing what is bound to be the most talked about track.
Featuring Kanye West and Big Sean, “Sanctified” is a larger-than-life anthem about climbing the ladder of success. The hook touches on the stereotypical symbols of success, while the verses focus more on what each emcee now perceives to be his desired goals in life. Their ambitions are bigger than ever and their drive is more focused. Nothing stands in their way, and they’re letting you know it on this track. You can stream “Sanctified” below.
Mastermind arrives in stores next Tuesday. No word yet on whether or not this song will be given a proper promotional push, but it seems safe to assume we can expect at least a video release in the months ahead.
