New England natives Foreign Tongues are set to release a new EP titled Sweet Empathy Leaving Me on April 8, and you can stream the first of two new songs on the release, which was produced by Defeater guitarist Jay Maas, right now over at AbsolutePunk.
“Wishing Well” is a moody rocker that sounds a bit like a heavier version of Seahaven or a more raw take on Moving Mountains’ self-titled album. The latter comparison is especially fitting because Moving Mountains frontman Gregory Dunn mastered the EP for vinyl.
Sweet Empathy Leaving Me is available for pre-order now at Youth Conspiracy Records. The vinyl pressing is limited to 300 hand-numbered copies on random colored vinyl, and orders placed before the release date will have a chance to win a test pressing.
