Watch Glass Animals’ “Gooey” Music Video

Oxford indie rockers Glass Animals‘ new music video for “Gooey” has some interesting imagery, taking gentle pop and running off into liquid healing powers, pretty lighting, and wrestling fellows in an abandoned house.

Directed by The Apiary (Lily Coates & Gavin Youngs), the music video has a strange narrative that will keep you glued to the screen, waiting to see how it all connects. It’s definitely different than their eerie and semi-disturbing video for “Psylla.” Instead, the four minute sticky video acts like a celebration of life and all the fluids it’s made of.

We hope our friends across the pond caught Glass Animals opening up for St. Vincent on her Europe tour. Hearing new material off their debut album due out through Paul Epworth’s WolfTone label this spring must have been exciting. In the meantime, if you haven’t picked up the band’s double A-side release, you can get a signed copy on vinyl here.
