Panic! At The Disco dropped the video for “Nicotine” earlier today, marking the fourth official music video from the new record, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!. Far less risqué than “Girls/Girls/Boys” and a touch more entertaining than “This Is Gospel,” “Nicotine” is an artistic and addictive video shot solely in black and white, displaying P!ATD mastermind Brendon Urie battling with a love affair just out of reach.
When talking to Rolling Stone, Urie said “Nicotine” is, “about that girl (or guy) that you know is bad for you but you just keep going back. It’s that drunk text you know you shouldn’t answer. It feels good in the moment but the next day, you know, you get that shame hangover – kind of a personification of addiction.”
