You may recall that last Spring, My Arcadia vocalist Jacqui Sandell auditioned for NBC’s talent show The Voice. She did well on the show, making it through several weeks, ultimately being knocked out in the battle rounds. Her fellow Team Blake Shelton contestant Cristian Porter was also eliminated during this stage of the performance program.

Undaunted, the two have begun working on an acoustic folk project of their own. For which the first song debuted today on their Facebook page.

The project is called The Misses and Me. It’s comprised of Sandell and Porter, featuring two voices and a guitar between the two of them. The first single is called “Sinking Ships.”
