tUnE-yArDs Announces New Album ‘Nikki Nack’ and Tour

Good news, my fellow freak folk lovers. Creative mind and childlike artist tUnE-yArDs has taken to Twitter this morning to share a mash-up of new songs, meaning she’s got a new album on the way. Following up 2011’s magnificent w h o k i l l, the new album is titled Nikki Nack and comes out May 6 in the US via 4AD. They sound like they will be inspired by African rhythms and layered drum loops just like her past two albums.
