First Look At Grant Gustin’s Costume In ‘The Flash’

Can The CW pull off another must-watch with their spin-off of Arrow, The Flash? Well they sure hope so, and gave fans a sneak peek of the superhero’s costume to hopefully fuel the growing fandom.

When something piques an interest at The CW it gets a spin-off. It’s already been done with The Vampire Diaries, it’s been announced Supernatural is getting one and production began on The Flash this week. Grant Gustin’s Flash was worked into an episode of Arrow this season but it wasn’t done in a backdoor pilot sort of way. It was just a taste of his character, Flash’s Barry Allen, who’ll get an official pilot soon.

As for the costume, it was done by the same woman who’s behind Stephen Amell’s wonderfully crafted ensemble on Arrow. Do you think the three-time Oscar recipient Colleen Atwood worked her magic again and pulled off another win for The Flash? It seems like they stuck with the usual red with lightning bolts but made it little edgier than the bright latex suit, so we’ll say yes.
