Lykke Li Shares Music Video For “Love Me Like I’m Not Made Of Stone”

Following the announcement of her third full-length record, I Never Learn, which is due out May 5 via Atlantic Records, Sweden’s Lykke Li, has unveiled the first single and music video leading up to the album’s release.

“Love Me Like I’m Not Made Of Stone” is a heart-wrenching offering, one of Lykke Li’s most poignant to date. Whereas most of her catalog could be easily accessible to new listeners, this new single may not be an ideal place to start. After releasing two records and well on her way to even more notoriety, it seems clear that Lykke Li is in an even more comfortable place and really putting it all on the line. Her voice could easily be considered grating to someone unfamiliar with her work but after experiencing her two previous albums countless times, I feel at ease within this track. Its vulnerable, bare-it-all lyricism is commendable and relatable to any that have ever experienced the power and woes of being in love.

You can view the simple but fitting video below and be on the lookout for more details regarding I Never Learn due out May 5 in Europe and May 6 in the US.
