Demon Hunter Stream New Song, “I Will Fail You”

Northwest rockers Demon Hunter released a brand new track from their upcoming seventh album, Extremist, yesterday, and you can stream it after the break. “I Will Fail You” is a departure from their typical heavy metal sound, opting instead for the route of lighter-ready alternative rock, complete with a guitar solo that owes more than a little bit of its sound to eighties power ballads.

Like the rest of the albums in the band’s decade-plus career, Extremist will be released on Solid State Records. The album is due out March 18, and you can pre-order it in a variety of bundle packages from the Solid State store.
