ALBUM STREAM: Lyla Foy – ‘Mirrors The Sky’

Lyla Foy may not be a name you’re all too familiar with just yet but the London-based singer will be making waves for the remainder of this year as her debut full-length, Mirrors The Sky, is set to release next week on March 18 via Sub Pop Records.

The entire album is currently streaming in full over at Pitchfork through their excellent Advanced page. I dare you to go listen to the opening track, “Honeymoon,” and not fall in love with Foy’s lush elegance and gorgeous melodies. The rest of the album offers equally enjoyable cuts with grand ambience and more upbeat, electronic offerings as well.

You still have time to pre-order the album over at Sub Pop, and if you purchase the vinyl before the release date, you’ll receive their limited “Loser” edition variant on a beautiful marble purple that accentuates the album’s artwork perfectly. You can also view all of Lyla Foy’s upcoming tour dates with links to buy tickets here.
