Watch The Trailer For Kristen Wiig’s New Drama ‘Hateship Loveship’

The title might be fun to say, but there isn’t too much comedy to be found in Kristen Wiig’s new movie, Hateship Loveship.

In it she plays Johanna Parry an introvert hired to be the housekeeper and caregiver to a very intrusive young girl, Sabitha (Hailee Steinfeld). After Johanna falls for the teen’s recovering addict dad (Guy Pearce), a cruel practical joke unfolds. The trailer sets it up and begins to tear at hearts as you see in a matter of minutes how horrible teenagers can truly be. Just in case you think it’s going to have no laughs, wait for the make out scene between Wiig and herself.

This is the second buzzed about performance for Wiig in a dramatic role this year. The first being The Skeleton Twins, where she shines alongside fellow SNL alum Bill Hader. You can catch Hateship Loveship when it hits VOD and theaters on April 11, but you can check out the trailer below for now.
