Original Nirvana Drummer Will Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame With Former Members

Back in December Nirvana was one of the many bands announced to be inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame, though the status of original drummer Chad Channing being inducted was unclear. Now, thanks to a statement from Chad himself, Channing has officially confirmed that he will be inducted to the Hall of Fame with his former band mates.

Channing performed on Bleach, the band’s debut album, as well as contributed some parts to Nirvana’s widely loved album, Nevermind (The album version of “Polly” remains with Channing’s original parts). While Channing will be present with the band for the induction, he has no plans to perform.
