Required Listening: NEEDTOBREATHE – “Drive All Night” (Live At The Ryman)

NEEDTOBREATHE love their fans. In addition to maintaining constant contact through social networks and newsletters, they begin every month by offering members of their official fan club free live tracks recorded over the last several years of touring. These recordings would otherwise never see the light of day, and a lot of the time never even make their way to the public once released, but this morning one track found its way to the UTG inbox that we could not resist sharing with all of you.

“Drive All Night” is arguably the biggest song NEEDTOBREATHE have released to date, but even if you have heard it 1000 times you have never heard it sound quite as emotionally charged as you do on the live recording found at the end of this post. It’s taken from the second night of the band’s 2012 run of shows at The Ryman in Nashville, and we have been playing it on repeat at UTG HQ all morning long. You can enjoy the performance below.

Rivers In The Wasteland, the latest studio album from NEEDTOBREATHE, arrives in stores next month.
