Danny Brown Re-releasing ‘Hot Soup’ With Seven Bonus Songs, Stream “Contra” Now

Back in 2008, Detroit rapper Danny Brown put out a mixtape called Hot Soup, one of several that helped him gain a cult following. Now that project will be re-released as a special double LP and 7″.

The re-release comes out April 15 and turns the 20-song Hot Soup mixtape into a two-disc LP with seven bonus tracks. If you want all seven, though, you’ll have to buy the vinyl edition — two of those will only be released on wax.

Straight off of that re-release is “Contra,” our first taste of the reworked material. Check out the song and the Hot Soup tracklist below:
