After reforming for a series of live shows in 2012, The Afghan Whigs are now preparing to release their first new album in 16 years with Do To The Beast set to hit stores on April 15. The band surprised us last month by releasing the desert rock tune “Algiers” as the album’s first single, complete with a Spaghetti Western-inspired music video.
“The Lottery” is our second taste from the new album, and fear not, the song is more in line with the soulful, guitar-driven hard rock we expect from the band. Click through for the stream.
