Machine Gun Kelly And DJ Whoo Kid Collaborate On “State Of Mind”

Machine Gun Kelly has spent the better part of the past several months working on new material and performing wherever there is a crowd looking to get hype. This morning, out of nowhere, the kid from Cleveland shares a new track created in collaboration with DJ Whoo Kid that is bound to take your day to the next level.

Offering some of his first bars of 2014, Machine Gun Kelly uses “State Of Mind” to remind you why he is the greatest and most underrated in the hip-hop game. The track itself is built on the back of Jay-Z and Cameron’s “Welcome To New York City,” but Kelly finds a way to make it feel entirely his own. You can stream the track below.

We assume Machine Gun Kelly will release a new mixtape this year and possibly even begin hyping his sophomore album. Neither of those announcements have been made at this point, but considering his relentless work ethic it’s unlikely MGK will stay silent for long.
