Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Announce New Album, Stream Single

With their undecipherable slurred singing and early 2000s blog hype, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have fallen out of mainstream media attention, but now they’re ready to step back up to the plate. With a new album, titled Only Run, coming out on June 2 via Xtra Mile Recordings, they’re ready to resurface.

The band have shared “Coming Down,” a single off the album that features Matt Berninger from The National. It’s got the Berninger’s moodiness but the larger sound of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah getting ready to go big. Only Run is the band’s fourth record, following 2011’s Hysterical, 2007’s Some Like Thunder, and their self-titled breakthrough in 2005.
