Mixtape: Fat Trel – ‘Gleesh’

Go ahead and delete whatever playlist you have waiting your afternoon commute or weekend event. Fat Trel has just released the only record you will need this week, and it will not cost you a penny to download.

The promotional run for Fat Trel’s new mixtape ended around 11:35 EST this morning when Gleesh made its debut on LiveMixtapes. The fifteen-track release feature all new material from Trel, as well as appearances from Stalley, Rick Ross, Wale, Rockie Fresh, Rich Hill, and Tracy T. You can stream and download the album below.

Putting aside the artwork, which is sure to garner a slew of angry tweets from concerned moms and militant feminists, Gleesh is a hard record to hate. Trel has been improving with each release, and I think it would be hard to argue that the Washington D.C. native has ever sounded better than he does on this mixtape. It would have been nice to see a few more people outside of MMG appear as guests, but it would be foolish to expect anything else.

We’re expecting Trel to do big things in the months ahead. Stay tuned.
