Earlier this year, Hawthorne Heights revealed plans to spend 2014 celebrating the ten-year anniversary of their landmark debut album, The Silence In Black And White. The initial announcement only included European tour dates, but attentive fans might have noticed that the VIP ticket packages mentioned an acoustic rendition of Silence. Now we know exactly what that was about. The album will get the full acoustic treatment this spring, and you can stream the new version of “Ohio Is For Lovers” after the break.
The Silence In Black and White (Acoustic) will be released on various formats throughout the spring and summer via InVogue Records. The digital version will be out April 15, just after the start of the European tour, with CD and vinyl releases to follow on May 20 and July 1, respectively. Pre-order a copy of the album right here.
You can see the current list of The Silence In Black And White tour dates after the break. As of now, only two US shows have been announced, but you can expect a lot more in the near future.
