About a week ago, we were graced with the first full-length trailer for Jonathan Liebesman’s highly anticipated reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As expected, it ruled, and within 24 hours, the interwebs were buzzing with excitement.
Earlier today, more good news arrived from the crime-fighting reptile camp. According to Deadline, Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub will round out the film’s already impressive cast, lending their voices to two pivotal characters. Knoxville, most well-known for his work on Jackass, will voice Leonardo, while Shalhoub, who provided countless laughs as neurotic detective Adrian Monk, will play the wise Master Splinter.
Coming to theatres August 8, and starring Megan Fox, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, and many more, the movie centers on four unlikely heroes who, with the help of spunky TV news reporter April O’Neil, must come together to stop a new threat which has taken up residence amidst the shadows and alleyways of New York City.
