Just as the case normally is with the films to come from Marvel Studios, Captain America: The Winter Soldier has completely dominated the box office charts this weekend while breaking records in the process. The action-flick opened this last Friday and made over $37 million, which breaks the single day record for the month of April that had been set by Fast Five when it opened to $34 million on April 25, 2011. As of right now, current estimates show that this sequel will pull in a total of $96.2 million by the end of the weekend, which will break the record for the month that has also been previously set by Fast Five.
