Lady Gaga is hoping to release the sequel to ARTPOP “very soon,” but will anyone care if she does?
Back in 2012 when she was recording, Gaga said she’d written a lot of material and that she was planning on releasing two volumes of the record. One would be the “commercial” one and the other a more “experimental” album. Well, the commercial one came and went without much notice. It was Gaga’s worst selling album yet – so what’s to say this other volume would be on anyone’s radar anyway?
She also said she wanted to perform both volumes of ARTPOP when her tour made it to the UK. Well, she’ll be there in October so if she’s going to drop that experimental one, she has to do it sometime before then.
Lady Gaga not only has this supposed other version on deck, but an album with Tony Bennett called Cheek to Cheek that’s due out in 2014 as well.
- New ‘Flintstones’ Movie In The Works - May 8, 2014
- Listen Up: Say Lou Lou Stream B-Side “Peppermint” - May 8, 2014
- Watch First Aid Kit’s “Cedar Lane” Video - May 6, 2014
It’s worth pointing out that the album still has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. It may be her least successful one, but it’s still got solid sales (especially for the current music industry).
