Every time NEEDTOBREATHE have spoken to the press recently they have commented on a desire to return to their roots with the release of Rivers In The Wasteland, which means a return to songs best performed unplugged, with lyrics that could sometimes double for Sunday morning worship. Such is the case with “Multiplied,” and it may be the best track to surface thus far off the band’s upcoming album.

Premiering on TeamCoco earlier today, “Multiplied” is the latest song from Rivers In The Wasteland to debut online ahead of the album’s April 15 release. It begins with the soft roar of an acoustic guitar and builds to a chorus that feels larger-than-life without jeopardizing the simplicity of the message contained at the song’s core. That message, as you can probably guess, is one of love and understanding. Click here to stream the song.
