California indie rock quartet Warpaint released their highly anticipated sophomore album earlier this year, offering fans a more moody and subdued take on the group’s sound. Yesterday, the band premiered a double music video for two of the album’s tracks, “Disco//Very” and “Keep It Healthy,” which you can view after the break.
The eight-minute clip is divided into two distinct sections. The “Disco//Very” portion takes place in daylight and features the band casually dancing in the street, while the latter half, set to “Keep It Healthy,” is comprised of nighttime skateboarding shots. Neither of these settings initially seem fitting for the dreamy vibe of the songs, but director Laban Pheidias manages to bring all of the elements together nicely.
