The Flaming Lips’ Drummer Kliph Scurlock Leaves Band

As reported by Pitchfork, The Flaming Lips may have just parted with their long-term drummer Kliph Scurlock.

Scurlock joined the band back in 2002 but, according to The Future Heart, he was recently not involved in the band’s Buku Music Project performance on March 22. Cue the online rumors saying that he’s left the group altogether.

Until then, keep tabs on The Flaming Lips collaborations with Miley Cyrus, from the Sgt. Pepper’s cover record to playing “Yoshimi” live and getting pelted with bras.
