Phantogram‘s “Fall In Love” was already one of my favorite singles of the year, and as I’ve been following UK-based team Until The Ribbon Breaks since they dropped the ridiculously good “Pressure” (and Run The Jewels collab), I was thrilled to see that the trio had reworked Phantogram’s lead-off Voices single.
Paired with visuals from 2014 Grammy staple Gravity, UTRB have given the originally upbeat “Fall In Love” a slower tempo with ethereal tones that really bring the excellent vocal track to the forefront atop a slick and smooth beat. It’s quite the departure from the source material but serves as an equally enjoyable version that will now be in constant rotation for me indefinitely. You can stream the track/video after the jump.
Until The Ribbon Breaks’ new EP, The Other Ones, is out now on iTunes.
