Lou Ferrigno, legendary actor and original star of The Hulk television series, has confirmed in a new interview that he will be voicing the greener side of Bruce Banner in Marvel’s upcoming film The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
According to Nuke The Fridge, Ferrigno confirmed his plans to voice The Hulk in the upcoming Avengers sequel while making an appearance at WonderCon in California this past weekend. Ferrigno originally provided grunts and screams for The Avengers, but actor Mark Ruffalo – who plays the part of Bruce Banner – provided the voice for Hulk’s one line of dialogue (“Puny God”).
It’s very cool of Marvel to allow Ferrigno to still be involved with the character he helped bring into the hearts and imaginations of comic fans everywhere, but I am going to guess the amount of dialogue he actually has will remain relatively small. We do not know the entirety of Hulk’s role in the new film, but early concept art revealed him fighting with Black Widow and Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster armor. You can view the images below.
The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will hit theaters in summer 2015.
