Stream A Reimagined Version Of Letlive.’s “The Dope Beat”

Last year Letlive. released their hugely successful album The Blackest Beautiful. It’s certainly my personal favorite of theirs, and I’m definitely not the only one. Starting in January, the band released their first Renditions track from the album. According to the group, these are reimagined versions of songs from The Blackest Beautiful featuring a variety of guest vocalists. The first song was a reimagined version of “27 Club,” and it included guest vocals by Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die. Now they have revealed the second track in the series, which is “The Dope Beat.” For this song, Letlive. recruited The Wonder Years‘ very own Dan “Soupy” Campbell to help out on vocals. You can give it a listen by taking a look below the break.

There are eleven tracks on The Blackest Beautiful, and so far we’ve heard two reinvented tracks from it. We will likely be hearing more of these over the next few months, so be sure to check in again soon.
