Fans of The Hold Steady get a double dose of excitement today.
First, the band premiered the music video for “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You,” which you can check out over at Rolling Stone. The clip was shot at New York’s Music Hall of Williamsburg during the band’s recent tenth anniversary shows.
After you watch the band perform on video, you can start looking forward to seeing them live this summer. Following a slew of UK shows and festival dates this spring, the Hold Steady will embark on the ‘Nights Go On Forever Tour,’ which will take them around the western half of the United States. The tour begins on July 2 in Chicago, Illinois and closes out just over a month later in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You can find the band’s full tour schedule for this year below.
