Braid Announce First Album In 16 Years

Braid are an emo group who originally formed and even disbanded in the ’90s. They have been very influential in the music scene even though they haven’t released a new album since 1998. In just a few months though that will all change, as the band has announced that they will be releasing their first studio album in 16 years on July 18 via Topshelf Records. The album is titled No Coast, and it will feature 12 new songs. You can check out the tracklist for yourself by taking a look below the jump.

This news should be exciting for a number of reasons. For some fans, this is the comeback of a group who probably had a hand in shaping their music tastes. For others, this is a great opportunity to discover and appreciate a “new” band that has already established themselves as musical giants.

Pre-orders aren’t available for this album quite yet. Be sure to check in again soon for those details though.
