If you need a calming tune in the midst of your busy day, look no further than “Shut You Down,” the latest single from the New York City indie rock band Caveman. Despite the name, there is nothing barbaric about the quintet’s smooth harmonies and laid-back, atmospheric instrumentation. Check out a music video for the song after the break courtesy of Planet Notion.
Before you get too hypnotized by Caveman’s synthesizers and reverb-drenched guitar lines, check out their upcoming tour dates. The bulk of the shows are in the United Kingdom and Europe, but fans on this side of the pond can catch Caveman at this summer’s Bonnaroo Festival.
The band’s self-titled album, released earlier this month, is available on iTunes.
