Rise Records Welcomes Defeat The Low To Their Roster

In recent months it seems that Rise Records has made a conscious effort to diversify their roster by signing a variety of bands instead of just the “scene” bands we are used to seeing. The latest addition to their family is an up and coming five piece alternative rock outfit based out of Portland, Oregon. They are named Defeat The Low, and as of today they officially signed to Rise Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band premiered a brand new single, which will be featured on the album they plan on releasing later this year. The new song is titled “Turn To Hate,” and you can stream it by taking a look below the break.

The song is catchy, and certainly has a great melody to it. The band isn’t heavy by any means, so fans of the lighter bands on this label’s roster will likely dig them. Keep an eye out for details on a new album, as we will announce those details as soon as they are available.
