After months of hype and promotion, the sophomore mixtape from Chicago rapper Taylor Bennett has found its way online.
Titled Mainstream Music, the latest mixtape from Chance The Rapper’s little brother features fourteen new tracks, including the singles “Box Chevy” and “Hope.” Guest appearances include King Louie, Spenzo, Lil Herb, Rockie Fresh, and Loyale Soule. You can stream and download the album at the end of this post.
We have not had a chance to dig through Mainstream Music in its entirety, but based on the singles we already know Bennett has put together one of the most diverse and confident releases of 2014. His style is unlike anything else on the mixtape market, though it is without a doubt the product of numerous windy city influences from the past decade (mixed with a little jazz and pop), and we are confident it will be the topic of many music-related conversations in the months to come. Do not sleep on this talent. Take the time now and discover tomorrow’s biggest star:
