Prawn Announce Summer Tour Dates With Into It. Over It.

Prawn

Don’t let all of the news about your favorite 90s emo bands make you miss some of the new bands that are helping spur this revival along. The New Jersey group that goes by Prawn have been grabbing the ears of listeners lately, after their four-way split with the likes of Frameworks, Kittyhawk and Droughts, and other past releases.

In the wake of that, today the band announced what appears to be the beginning of a tour with Into It. Over It. that will start in July. So far we only have four dates on the east coast, but the word is more dates will be announced in the near future. This will not be a tour to sleep on.

Confirmed Dates:
July 10 – Bethlehem, PA @ Blast Furnace @ Artsquest Center
July 12 – Providence, RI @ The Met
July 13 – Rochester, NY @ The Bug Jar
July 14 – Ann Arbor, MI @ The Blind Pig

Stay tuned for Under the Gun for any updates regarding this tour. Also be sure to order the aforementioned Split EP that features Prawn and check out the rest of their library via their Bandcamp page if you haven’t already.

Corey From

Corey From, from Kansas City, MO, when not thinking about or listening to music, obsessively thinks about Royals baseball, a platter of ribs (or BBQ in general) and cold beer. Nothing special really.
