Wretched Stream First ‘Cannibal’ Cut, “Morsel”

To follow up 2012’s Son Of Perdition, North Carolina’s Wretched will be releasing their fourth full-length, titled Cannibal, on June 10 through their career-long label, Victory Records.

Today, the band has premiered the first single from the record over at Lambgoat, and as it essentially sounds like more of the same from the deathcore quintet, fans of their previous material should feel right at home within “Morsel.” That’s not to say that the band won’t find new fans with the new single, as they’ve locked down a solid formula that works and is still enjoyable. It’s heavy as hell with slick solos, blistering blastbeats, and Adam Cody’s intense vocal delivery. Bang your head to “Morsel” after the jump via animated stream.

Pick up a pre-order on CD, vinyl, or within a bundle containing a whole new Wretched wardrobe over at Victory Records.
